Miniseum is a privately owned museum that opened in 1999 with model houses and miniatures in the international scale of 1:12.
The Miniseum contains, among other things, a faithful replica of the Old Estrup Manor, with halls, tapestries and paintings as it looked in 1996, when we began work on the 4-meter wide and 2.2-meter high model in collaboration with model carpenter Kurt Jensen.
In addition to model houses, there are miniature crafts made by some of the world's most skilled craftsmen, including paintings, furniture, silverware, dolls, mouth-blown glass and embroidery, for example an embroidered carpet of 111,540 stitches measuring 22 x 16 cm, made by the owner Birthe Knuth.
In addition to the museum, Miniseum is also a physical store and webshop .
Definitely worth a visit!
